We have thought about everything you need to prevent you from having to worry about anything other than your studies and having a good time. From high speed WiFi to satellite TV options, to on site gym, to indoor bike storage, to games rooms, to laundry facilities and much more, your Elite facility has it all!
Llwyn Castan and Gellistawstad Halls are a private hall of residences located in the heart of Pontypridd and have 45 bedrooms – all with en-suite bathrooms and three-quarter size beds with under-bed storage.
Redeveloped in 2016, Llwyn Castan has been designed to rival the best of the best in terms of luxury student accommodation in the UK. There is a gymnasium, laundry room and games room in the building, as well as 5 kitchens.
The building has state-of-the-art fire and security systems as well as thermostat-controlled heating to all rooms – with utility costs included. High-speed WiFi is included and there are satellite TV connections to all rooms with a range of TV packages available (at extra cost).
Enquire NowGelliwastad Halls is situated just around the corner from Llwyn Castan. Rooms at Gelliwastad Halls include a limited amount of studio rooms for those wanting their own kitchens. In addition, Gelliwastad halls has two common room areas and communal kitchens, high speed wi-fi throughout, and limited on-site parking.
Enquire NowWhilst there is limited on site parking, we have parking spaces available just a short distance away from Llwyn Castan so no need to worry about parking tickets! These are just £10 per week and are compulsory for car owners due to planning/transport policy.
Your luxury accommodation offers secure, indoor cycle storage for every room. If you decide to cycle to University there is the National Cycle Route 8 – this should take less than 10 minutes and is a total of 2.3 miles.
You could also cycle via Wood Rd which is just 2.1 miles and would take a similar time.
The bus stop is only 75m from Llwyn Castan and run every 10-15 mins to University Campus for most of the day. They stop right outside campus so this really is a quick and easy option. View timetable information.
The train station is a few minutes walk from Llwyn Castan and trains are as frequent as every 10 minutes. The University Campus is just 1 stop so a few minutes ride. This train will also take you on to Cardiff when you wish to explore the delights of the city.
There’s nothing like a brisk walk in the morning to get you wide awake and raring to attack the day. The main University campus is a 1.5 mile walk so should take you 25 minutes.
